Overview
Collaborated with Diagrammar, a multidisciplinary architecture studio based in Chennai, India, to design a website that reflects their diverse practice across architecture, set design, and graphic design. The project aimed to establish a strong online presence and streamline client engagement through clear, and accessible call to action. The platform was tailored for a single user group—potential clients—prioritizing intuitive navigation and clean visual hierarchy to showcase the studio’s work and invite inquiries.
Design Process
Ideation
Diagrammar has a distinct visual style that is drawn from in the branding and UI elements. The studio typically takes on clients through word of mouth and is looking to create an online presence. Further, Diagrammar utilizes a PDF to share previous works with their clients - curating each deck for the client's needs.
Wireframes & Prototype
As a result, the initial wireframes showcase a diverse range of services the studio offers. It relies on images of previous work as most of their service is visual. With simple and intuitive navigation, clients can click through projects and contact the studio.
The final prototype is designed and developed with Webflow.
Reflections
This project is an example of visual heavy exploration within the portfolio archetype. It relies on hover interactions that translate to on-click on phones. With accessibility standards in mind, I leaned into larger text formats for bites of quick information.
